Quick Write:
I think I'm tough to a certain extent. After a while of trying I tend to give up and get frustrated; but I don't give up that easily i'll try a couple of time if there's no difference and it just gives me headaches I just leave it alone.
Essential Question:
How would you evaluate a person's amount of mental toughness?
I love your essential question. I wish you had introduced it during the Socratic seminar. You did a great job of following the step by step instructions. I would like to see you think deeper on why gratitude and generosity are so important for mental toughness. I also hope that after reading the article, you understand the pointlessness in giving up. It's not the finish line that's important--it's how you get there. Doesn't it even matter if you get there? You also did a great job in the Socratic seminar by building on others' ideas. Next time I'd like to see you use more evidence from the text and encourage others to think and participate.
