I strongly believe it's better to have a growth mindset because it keeps you in a positive state of mind. Like Dr. Dweck proved it also increases your learning and you get better grades or just get better at whatever it is. For example, she does an experiment on 7th graders who were doing poorly in math and she put them in workshops. The students that learned about the brain and mindsets did better in math and ended up passing.
Final Reflection:
My claim matters because it allows us to understand a growth mindset and how it effects our daily lives. It gives us the ability to see failure in a different light. I believe this claim is important because it can change the mindset of other people and they out look on failure.

Your quick write is well-organized with all the elements: main idea, evidence, and analysis. Your final reflection makes a great point but it could use a little more explanation. This sentence: "It gives us the ability to see failure in a different light." is so true but people not familiar with mindset psychology might not understand without a little more detail. Yes, you are arguing a very important claim. I think you meant to write "their outlook on failure."
