History as construct

Quick Write:
You don't know that everything your learning in History is true. The person who wrote the textbooks could be lying and we would never know. We just go by what we read or see because we weren't living in that time period to differentiate the truth from a lie.

Final Reflection:
My opinion about changing history remains the same. I personally think you can't change history. Even though in 1984 by George Orwell they changed everything including dates, predictions, and what they thought was facts. But I don't believe people take the time to change every aspect of history today.

  1. How can we verify what we are reading is true? There are ways...Yet, don't you believe that the government sometimes "spins" history to make them look good? Look up the word propaganda. Cute graphic.
